It's Official!

Colton and Brooke are engaged. He proposed to her Thursday morning at the Boise airport before she flew to DC to be with her sisters. She's running a 10K tomorrow and we wish her luck. The ring is beautiful and BIG and we love her. They are thinking of August 14 for the big day. It's exciting...

Break Bread

OK, I was blog stalking today and found this post about making the easiest bread ever. And you know what? It is and it was. So simple Check out the You Tube and see how easy it is. I made the bread and I couldn't keep the guys out of it. You let the extra dough sit in the fridge for up to two weeks and the better flavor you get out of your dough. I have a hard time not kneading or handling the dough because that's all the recipes you read out there. I've been learning how to make the Lyon House rolls. So good and I'm getting pretty good at it.
This is so different. You literally mix it up in a plastic container, I used a shoe box type with a wooden spoon, let it raise, shaped it and let it raise again. So simple and so yummy! Check it out. You'll be pleasantly surprise

Spring Where Are You?

Ugh! Snow and cold, cold, cold. No fun going on here. But we're hopeful.
We had a nice weekend with everyone home. Kenzi had to work Sunday afternoon so we had our Easter dinner on Saturday. It was great of course. Kenzi is still learning a lot from her job and has very interesting stories to tell. She's trying to find a roomate to stay in Logan during the summer but so far no luck. :( Ez went to a different job this weekend and will not be selling cars anymore. He will be working with a local company here selling parts for motorcycles and then eventually they will be opening a wake boarding center along with their boats and water crafts. It's his true love. So he's excited about that. He learned alot from Adam and appreciated his time at Hansen Chevrolet. Colt is still working with Paul and planning his future...
Mom and dad are in Mexico and they felt the earthquake that happened on Sunday afternoon. They called to tell us everyone was OK. They started to feel the shake then Wade yelled at them to get out of the house. Kinda scary thinking about your 80 year old parents hurrying out of the house. They were fine. I asked dad if mom was nervous and he said she only gets nervous if I think I'm having a heart attack. Great. . . Mom's a trooper. They will stay in Baja for another week then home. I'm glad they're healthy enough to keep going. We will be planning dad's 80th b-day party this August. Can't wait to go home for a week.

What the Heck?

OK I've just been going thru my mail, it's been about a week and I'm cleaning off my desk. I have in the mail something from AARP and now death benefits to pay off my funeral in case I have no money. What the hell? I'm not even 50 yet and they're writin' me off. I refuse to even look at that crap. I can still do as headstand and handstand everyday... to keep up and... and... and... can shop all day long and not get tired without a diet to keep me going! So there!
